Dr. Latif Bagwan trained in general surgery at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, completed senior residency at University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and further training in hepato-pancreatic-biliary surgery at Heidelberg (Germany) and advanced laparoscopic surgery in Brussels (Belgium). He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Chicago, and has consulted in GI & laparoscopic surgery at Gateway Clinic, Coimbatore.
